Social Development offers the following programs:

1) lncome Support

The Income Support Program is to assist with Supports for lncome Supports to on-reserve members and/or residents of the Alexander First Nation. This program is policy driven through INAC and utilizes the 360 program to administer the lncome Supports Benefits. The Staff will assist clients in establishing and/or maintaining self-reliance and independence,

2) Elders Utilities

This program is funded through the LSC Vote each year. lt is for ALL Alexander First Nation members who are the age of 65 and over and have utilities in their name. This program is for Power and Gas bills ONLY.

3) Emergency Food Program

This program is for Alexander First Nation members who may be experiencing hardship. Upon eligibility, the Alexander First Nation members may be entitled to access the Emergency Food Program as a once only,

4) Funeral Assistance

The Funeral Assistance program may be utilized for Alexander First Nation Members only. This program will assist in the Funeral arrangements for Alexander First Nation Members.
